No mare this season has won in as comprehensive a fashion as Bobbi With An I when she opened her account at Lingstown. Her 40-length winning margin is the biggest winning distance achieved by a mare so far this season which is particularly noteworthy. Suited by the test that Lingstown presented, the €35,000 Derby Sale purchase, who is out of a half-sister to the Listed winner Monsieur Lecoq, travelled comfortably throughout. One of three horses to break clear along the back straight, she soon pressed the long-timer leader pushing the pace on to ensure that most of her rivals were soon crying enough. That ensured that just one of her rivals was still left in the race coming into the home straight, with the remainder pulling up by this point, but all the while, Bobby With An I powered on extending her advantage with each stride to ultimately defeat a horse with previous placed form by that 40-length margin.
