A fine debut from this son of Ballingarry who was a very close second to Rockwiththetimes. He had been chasing the exciting Ballyvaughan Boy at the final fence before having to sidestep him as he came down and this loss of momentum may well have cost him victory in the final analysis. He is out of a winning mare who won three and was placed twelve times and she has already produced a top class performer in Mick Jazz who finished a close second in an Irish Champion Hurdle. He would appear to have the pedigree to go a long way and on the evidence of his debut has the ability to back this potential.
