Kitsilano is a horse that created an immediate impression with his debut performance when finishing fourth in what was undoubtedly a particularly strong five-year-old maiden at Ballyvodock at the beginning of the year with the stats back that up, as no fewer than four subsequent maiden winners have emerged from it. This Fame And Glory is among them, as having caught the eye prior to a mistake two-out for that debut, he immediately gained compensation at Bandon when winning as he pleased by ten lengths. His return this season has seen him gain valuable further experience culminating in a wide-margin success at Boulta most recently. Despite coming up against a notable recent wide-margin maiden winner, he turned the race into a procession winning by 35 lengths, clocking a time that quicker than both of the four-year-old maiden races run earlier on the card.
