This is a thoroughly tough and game individual who spent the entire three mile trip of his Kirkistown maiden chasing the potentially high class Blackcauseway. At no stage throughout this process did he look like stepping back from the winner and held his position all the way to the line when beaten three lengths with a further six lengths back to the runner-up. It should be noted that the third had one previous run when not at all disgraced by My Mate Mozzie and the fourth had not been beaten far in a Moira maiden on debut suggesting this fellow posted a strong effort on this debut effort.
