A smashing son of Kapgarde who finished a fine second on debut from a consignor who has shown that their charges improve considerably from run to run and throughout their career. This fellow went to the front and challenged the long-time leader in the early part of the final circuit and they quickened notably away from the remainder. When left in front at the second last the injection of pace saw him tire a little and he became something of a target for the eventual winner but he had done enough to confirm he was one who could well make notable improvement from this run. The winner had form behind the now track proven American Mike and used that to his advantage so this debutante is open to considerable improvement from a very promising debut effort.
