A daughter of Shirocco who has produced one of the all-time great mares in Annie Power this mare has begun her career in good style by winning on debut at Lingstown. A contest against a solitary rival can be difficult to assess but there are many things we did learn. This debutante was happy to race alongside her more experienced rival suggesting she is quite uncomplicated and straightforward. Given the steady early pace the pace quickened notably from the third last and her jumping stood up to scrutiny as the speed was injected illustrating her accuracy. Finally given the speed which was injected her change of gears was the most notable part of her performance. At times looks slightly green as she went up through the gears she quickened smartly away to win well at the line. She is out of an Oscar mare and from the family of Keepatem and Den of Iniquity as there is nothing but positives surrounding here at this stage of her career.
