This was a performance out of the very top drawer from this chasing type who has all the class to compete for the highest prizes throughout his career. Autumn four-year-old maidens tend to be of the highest quality with Shishkin and Chantry House testament to this as graduates of this sale in previous years so when a debutante destroys his rivals in this manner he must be assumed to be another potentially high class sort. Whilst in a different league to his rivals it must be noted that each of the last fence faller, the second and the third were all coming to this race with not only previous runs but each had placed form. Given this depth of form it is further impressive that this youngster should dominate as he did. It was notable the turn of foot he showed before the last once asked to quicken and further notable to those in attendance was the amount of time it took to pull him up after the race which is always a good sign of a top class animal. His sire was a Group 2 winner for Aidan O’Brien and is notably a full brother to the great Yeats who has produced festival winners from this very sale in both Chantry House and Mount Ida. A very exciting lot.
