A perfect start for this son of Libertarian who is out of a Roselier mare. He turned up at Loughbrickland and in a very tight finish he was the one who found the extra effort required to come out on top. Whilst being strongly challenged on both sides after the last fence having been close to the pace throughout he was always able to hold the advantage and showed an admirable desire for competition. He is out of a sister to Alexander Taipan and from the family of Anzum and Sh Boom. What is most notable about this race is that it was run in a time fifteen seconds faster than the second division which is a considerable difference and given this Lot contributed to the pace for much of the contest he clearly looks one who is capable of competing at the very highest level. A top sort for any short list it would appear.
