A thoroughly game and tough performance from this son of Court Cave to prevail in testing conditions up the stern Rathcannon hill. He had the proven Gamin Doux to contend with who had been a close third at Loughrea on debut but managed to fend him off in a good battle to the line. His dam was a multiple winner for Charlie Longsdon and the attitude demonstrated on this fellow’s debut suggests he too will enjoy winning throughout his career and can be expected to do so at a high level.
