Humble Glory finished a promising second at Boulta in December when finishing up just two lengths behind Fresh Appeal. The daughter of Fame and Glory stepped-up notably from her fourth placed effort to Russellsway on her debut at this same venue two weeks earlier. The four-year-old was never too far off the pace and was left third at the second last fence and another casualty at the penultimate fence left her and the winner to battle it out to the line where she was ultimately outstayed by Fresh Appeal. A €15,000 graduate of the 2018 August sale, the bay mare is out of a half-sister to Troytown Chase winner Royal County Star and given the attributes she has shown to date, she will not be waiting long to enter the winners’ enclosure.
