Fill The Tank made a promising debut at Ballindenisk by taking his five-year-old maiden in impressive fashion. One of four newcomers in the line-up, the son of Gold Well, was given a patient ride before making good progress in the final circuit where he led after jumping the second-last, to then go on and quicken well to the line to seal a two-and-a-half length success in the hands of Eoin Mahon. The Aengus King-trained winner is out of a half-sister to the three-time winner Woodys Deep Ocean. Great confidence has to be taken from this performance where he showed lots of potential and he looks like he could develop into an exciting youngster on the racetrack.
