Considering that Walk Away all but fell at the final fence, before recovering and staying on again on the run to the line, this was a very taking debut performance. Trained by Pat Crowley the five-year-old bounced out and made all the running in a 15-runner maiden around Ballindenisk. Having jumped well throughput in the hands of Declan Queally, the son of Black Same Bellamy had them on the stretch down the back, before picking up well in the home straight. The debutant over-jumped the final fence and did well to find a leg having slithered on landing. To his credit the good-looking sort went on to record an impressive four-length success. All things considered this could potentially be a very smart performer going forward.
