Out of a dual track winning-daughter of Shantou, Florrie Webb hade his debut in a competitive four-year-old maiden at Borris House on Sunday. Always up with the pace, the son of Prince Flori made striking ground coming to the second-last to ensure that he held every chance, when his main rival, the more experienced, Rewritetherules, departed handing him the advantage. A debut success had then seemed assured coming to the final fence, as he held a six-length advantage over his two nearest pursuers, before his inexperience caught him out and he met the last all wrong, and falling as a result. Very unlucky on this occasion, he would have to be strongly fancied to gain compensation in the near future.
