Press Conference (IRE) B.G.

Press Conference made an impressive winning reappearance at Boulta in December when he took his four-year-old maiden. An encouraging third on his debut run at Quakerstown last April, Press Conference travelled strongly throughout and moved through to lead after the penultimate fence where he kept on well in testing conditions to win by two lengths. By the progressive sire Getaway, he is out of the winning mare Beautiful Tune and is a half-brother to the Grade 1 placed, Lambro. Press Conference is also from the family of Group 1 placed Beaune and Bering. Given his progression over the summer along with his strong pedigree, great confidence has to be taken from this performance that he is a potentially classy sort and one that should be added to all short lists.
