Beyondthestorm produced a very taking debut performance at Moira in December. The son of Flemensfirth was prominent throughout where he progressed to lead from the penultimate obstacle and when challenged at the last he showed a good attitude to battle gamely to win on the line. A half-brother to a two-time winner over fences, Kimora, Beyondthestorm is also a half-brother to two bumper-placed runners thus showing he is bred to possess a blend of both speed and stamina, both of which he displayed at Moira in testing conditions. He is from the family of Grade two performers Captain Von Trappe and Jonniesofa and is a very exciting sort that should be added to all short lists at the sales.
