Kazansky (IRE) B.G.

Purchased for €68,000 at the 2023 Derby Sale, this son of Milan made an encouraging start to his career when finishing fifth on debut in a late-season four-year-old maiden at Stowlin. Kazansky then made his season debut at Lisronagh in March, where he gallantly went down by a head to Ballindenisk in a hotly-contested five-year-old geldings’ event. Reappearing a fortnight later at Rathcannon, Kazansky, who was sent off the hot favourite, made no mistake when scoring by a length from Manners Matter. Clearly, an improving sort, the bay Kazansky will progress into a nice individual between the rails.
