One of six newcomers from 15-runners in a Dromahane five-year-old geldings’ contest, the French-bred Unflinching justified favouritism when scoring by two-and-a-half lengths, albeit his task was made easier when the disputing Follow My Order exited at the penultimate fence. This grey son of Montmartre who was a €95,000 Derby sale purchase, is out of the French Listed placed Kapirovska and interestingly traces back to former Group 1 National Stakes runner-up Toscanini. This was a perfect start to his racing career and he will certainly make his presence felt on the track.
