Karaka De Thaix came into this race with a lofty reputation, and he duly delivered on debut for the Dale Peters team on 2nd March. The highly regarded son of Cokoriko clearly has a big engine and he galloped his rivals into the ground in good style to win in a fast time. This maiden has thrown up the likes of Miami Magic and Touch Me Not in the past and this fella looks to be another high class performer in the making for new connections.
