Supreme George (IRE) B.G.

A very solid youngster who has been beaten by less than five lengths on each of his outings to date. He made his debut on yielding ground at Ballinaboola where he ran with credit for a first effort and on notably heavy ground at Lisronagh he was a fine second to the well thought of Douglas Hyde. He challenged this long time leader and eventual winner entering the straight and at one point appeared to be travelling better but at the line was just the four lengths adrift. He looks to have the speed to drop back in trip and when strengthening up will be a far stronger proposition next season with the benefit of these two runs. He is from the family of Sweeny Tines and Bonalma.
