A very smart youngster who won the four-year-old maiden at Quakerstown and showed terrific resilience to do so. He looked set to come with a potentially winning run before the final fence before being completely halted in his tracks and having to switch. This would have been enough to end the chances of a lesser horse but he was renewing his challenge when his nearest rival erred at the last and his luck turned allowing him to lift the prize he arguably deserved in any case. The runner up has already been sold for 180,000 confirming that shrewd judges have already seen the value of this maiden which has provided many top class performers over the years including Champagne Fever and Bacardys.
