An impressive eight length winner of his maiden at Dromahane he had previously run into one of the best horses of this generation at Ballyvodock on debut when third to An Tobar. He went to the front in the home straight and it was notable that while each of his rivals struggled this fellow simply moved up through the gears. An eight lengths success had the appearance of a performance which could have been won by multiples of that as he never truly came out of his comfort zone at any point in this contest. It is rare to see points won with such authority in this era so this fellow must be given maximum respect for this performance. Even in cruising home in his own time he clocked a time eight seconds faster than the average on the day and he is out of a sis to the very talented and versatile Clondaw Warrior.
