A fine debut effort from this son of Frozen Fire who made all the running at Farmacaffley to win a decent maiden. He was the choice of stable rider Ben Crawford for the team which had three runners in the race and one of the others has since won. Furthermore upon deciding to slot him in mid division he changed tactics after jumping the second and moved to make the running. Proving himself to be very straightforward he adapted to the new tactics and set a decent pace. Climbing to the last fence he was strongly challenged by the talented and highly regarded Gordon Elliott recruit An Mhi who was sent off the 4/6F for the contest such was the yard confidence. When the challenge arrived it was notable how well this fellow picked up again and he clearly has considerably more to offer than he required to win this maiden.
