Diamond Tiki was one of the paddock picks before the much talked about PTP Flat Race at Maisemore Park on 27th March. A scopey individual, he ran a race full of promise for the Fran Poste team. He looked to have all his rivals on the stretch on the home turn but had to give best in the final furlong to a well-regarded winner with the pair pulling well clear. This was a lovely introduction and the relation to Edgardo Sol looks to have a very bright future over obstacles for new connections.
