A very promising debut from this son of Libertarian when he finished second to the more experienced Great Ocean at Fairyhouse on Sunday. The winner had been third on the opening weekend of the season before again finishing third to the now multiple track winner Percy Warner so this looked to be a very much above average maiden to enhance the credentials of this runner up. He is from the family of Silver Birch and Alexander Banquet so is sure to improve with time also.
