Chuvelo emerged with a tremendous amount of credit after a very taking racecourse introduction in the competitive Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Sales Bumper at Fairyhouse on the 21st April. The four-year-old son of Milan travelled well for Harley Dunne and improved to lead over a furlong out and was only headed close to the finish by the Joseph O’Brien trained Uhtred. This was a most pleasing start to his career and bumper success looks a formality before he goes on to make his mark over obstacles.
